Name: Katherine Sartor
Majors: Double majoring in English and English Education
Year: Junior
About Me: I love to volunteer, especially at Thomas Lay where reading is a focus for elementary school children.
Why I'm Studying English: I love to read and delve deep into the meanings of novels. To me reading and studying literature is not just a pastime, instead it is a passion. It is something that I hope to share with others when I become an English professor.
Why I Joined UEA: There is a distinct lack of support for English majors on campus and because of this, I wanted to join a group that gave English majors a community. I wish I had the information as an underclassman that the UEA offers to its members. I joined the UEA to help other English majors explore their options and to guide them with their future pursuits.
